The Real Faith
It is not your faith in God,
it is the faith of God in you.

  Rediscovering the Kingdom

  Applying the Kingdom
What is the "Kingdom of God?"

Romans 14:17 - The kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
Matthew 11:15 - He that has ears to hear, let him hear.

John 14:6 - I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man comes unto the Father, but by me.

John 17:3 - And THIS is eternal life, that they might KNOW You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.

Hebrews 11:6 - But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that comes to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

James 4:1-10 (BBE) - What is the cause of wars and fighting among you? is it not in your desires which are at war in your bodies? You are burning with desire, and have not your desire, so you put men to death; you are full of envy, and you are not able to get your desire, so you are fighting and making war; you have not your desire, because you do not make request for it. You make your request but you do not get it, because your request has been wrongly made, desiring the thing only so that you may make use of it for your pleasure. O you who are false to God, do you not see that the friends of this world are not God's friends? Every man desiring to be a friend of this world makes himself a hater of God. Or does it seem to you that it is for nothing that the holy Writings say, The spirit which God put into our hearts has a strong desire for us? But he gives more grace. So that the Writings say, God is against the men of pride, but he gives grace to those who make themselves low before him. For this cause be ruled by God; but make war on the Evil One and he will be put to flight before you. Come near to God and he will come near to you. Make your hands clean, you evil-doers; put away deceit from your hearts, you false in mind. Be troubled, with sorrow and weeping; let your laughing be turned to sorrow and your joy to grief. Make yourselves low in the eyes of the Lord and you will be lifted up by him.

The Gospel of the Kingdom of God

Galatians 1:1-10 - Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;) And all the brethren which are with me, unto the churches of Galatia: Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father: To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

What is the Kingdom of God?  - The Kingdom of God is not a religion. What is a Kingdom? Who is is the King? What is the difference between a Republic (Democracy) and a Kingdom?

"I never knew you"

Jesus said: "Wherefore by their fruits you shall know them. Not every one that says unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name? and in your name have cast out devils? and in your name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, you that work iniquity. Therefore whosoever hears these sayings of mine, and does them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that hears these sayings of mine, and doesn't do them, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall." --Matthew 7:20-27

Franklin Graham: What is a Christian? There is much confusion over the answer to that question today, especially in our own country. Jesus said that His true followers are those who have been “born again” by the Spirit of God. Some years ago, I was in a cab when I asked the driver about his faith. He replied that he was a Christian, and I asked him how he became one. I’ll never forget his reply: “Oh, I was born a Christian.” But those who belong to Christ know that it’s impossible to be born a Christian because we start out with a sin-infected nature, lost and separated from God. People often use the term “Christian” as simply a category for describing someone’s cultural, religious, or family heritage. Other people believe that a person is a Christian because he or she attends church or was raised in a godly home. For still others, the term “Christian” is no more than a box to check off on an application or survey form. So what is a Christian? Jesus said that His true followers are those who have been “born again” by the Spirit of God. When a Jewish religious leader named Nicodemus came to talk with Jesus one night, he declared that God was with Jesus because of all the miraculous signs Jesus performed. Jesus had this penetrating response: “I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again. … Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit(John 3:3, 6, NIV).

One Way
Jesus said unto him, "I AM the way, and the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, except through Me

There is only One Way to KNOW the Father - by KNOWING Jesus
There is only One Way to KNOW Jesus - by KNOWING the WORD.
There is only One Way to KNOW the WORD - by having the same Spirit that inspired the WORD reveal the WORD.
There is only One Way to HAVE the Spirit - Baptism in the Holy Spirit.

John 14:5-11: Thomas said unto him, Lord, we do know not where you are going; how are we able to know the way? Jesus said unto him, I AM the way, and the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, except through Me. If you have known Me, then you will know My Father. And from now on you do know Him, and you have been seeing Him. Philip said unto him, Lord, You must now show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us. Jesus said unto him, I have been with you for so long a time, and you have not known Me, Philip? The one who has seen Me has seen the Father: how can you say, You must show us the Father? Do you not believe I AM in the Father, and the Father is in Me? The words which I speak to you I AM not speaking from Myself, but the Father Who lives in Me does His works. Believe in Me, that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me: but if not, believe because of these works. (Power New Testament

John 4:13-14:  Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinks of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinks of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

John 7:37-39: In the In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed?
And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost. --Acts 19:2

"Knowledge unenlightened by the truth of God is dark knowledge. We may have a B.S., an M.S., and a Ph.D., but without the Lord all we have is dark information. It may help navigate us in the world of darkness, but by itself will never lead us to the truth. Apart from the revelation of the Spirit of God, none of us could ever find our way into the light. Darkly educated people are like those whom Paul described to his young protg', Timothy, as 'always learning but never able to acknowledge the truth.'" (2 Timothy 3:7) Rediscovering the Kingdom by Myles Munroe

At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because You have hid these things from the wise and prudent, and have revealed them unto babes. Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight. All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knows the Son, but the Father; neither knows any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him. --Matthew 11:25-27

It is the spirit that quickens; the flesh profits nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. --John 6:63

I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come. --John 16:12-13

1 Corinthians 1:19-25, 2:10-16  - "For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not Go not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom: But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men. ...But God has revealed them unto us by his Spirit for the Spirit searches all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knows no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Ghost teaches; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he that is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

"God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:..." --Genesis 1:26

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth."
--John 4:24

For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one. --1 John 5:7-8

And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. --1 Thessalonians 5:18-23

"But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty gives them understanding. Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment." --
Job 32:8-9

Just as God is a Trinity, three in one, He created man in this same image, three in one. Just as God is a Spirit, man is also first and foremost an eternal spirit, that has a mind and a temporary body.
Without understanding this, one will never appreciate not only God's creation, but one's complete self,  nor to "know no man after the flesh" (2Corninthian 5:17). For what man knows the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knows no man, but the Spirit of God. (1 Corinthians 2:11)  "The Lord does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart" (1 Samuel 16:7).

And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. --Genesis 2:7
He breathed on them, and said unto them, "
Receive ye the Holy Ghost:" --John 20:22

Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul (Strong(Strong's concordance for soul  - G5590: psuche -- pronounced: psoo-khay' from 5594; breath, i.e. by implication spirit), and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. --Matthew 22:36-40
