Democrats & Abortion
Abortion stops a beating heart.

Life begins at conception. Nothing grows if it is not living!

If we are pronounced dead when our heart stops, why are we not pronounced alive when our heartbeat starts?

"But the one who sins against Me wrongs his own soul. All those who hate Me love death." --Proverbs 8:36 ONMB

As you know not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so you know not the works of God who makes all. --Ecclesiastes 11:5

Thus says the LORD, your redeemer, and he that formed you from the womb, I am the LORD that makes all things; that stretches forth the heavens alone; that spreads abroad the earth by myself; That frustrates the tokens of the liars, and makes diviners mad; that turns wise men backward, and makes their knowledge foolish; --Isaiah 44:24-25

Because you have said, We have made a covenant with death and we are in agreement with hell. When the overflowing scourge will pass through it will not come on us, for we have made lies our refuge and we have hidden ourselves under falsehood. --Isaiah 28:15

...Abortionists love to bring up the cases of rape, incest or the life of the mother. But these account for less than 1% of unwanted pregnancies. What is the reason for the other 99%? And why does a free and prosperous society need to kill so many of its own children? The answer is that Americans are addicted to a lifestyle. --Mario Murillo

Kings and Babies: Pharaoh, Herod, and the President - By Joseph Parker - ...Tragically we have a president (Biden) in office who seems to be passionate about supporting the killing of innocent babies and seeing to it that it is freely allowed in our nation. Our present president, it appears, places himself right alongside Pharoah in the book of Exodus and Herod in the Book of Matthew. Once again, we see a leader that seems to have no compassion for babies in the womb. Yet how tragic it is that many stand with him with the same or a similar passion to see abortion remain legal. Sadly, many other leaders appear to agree with his perspective that babies, if unwanted, don’t count.

Upfront: Abortion

Graphic Content: Audience Gasps as Ex-Abortion Doctor Describes What Procedure Is Really Like - ...In October 2015, Dr. Anthony Levatino, an obstetrician/gynecologist who said he had performed over 1,200 abortions, testified during a House Judiciary Committee hearing on Planned Parenthood’s medical procedures. He described in excruciating detail the abortion of a 22-week-old fetus. (This portion of the video available at the link begins at 34:30.)

“Your patient today is 17 years old. She’s 22 weeks pregnant,” Levatino told lawmakers. “Her baby is the length of your hand plus a couple of inches. “And she’s been feeling her baby kick for the last several weeks. She’s asleep on an operating room table.”

He then provided a step-by-step explanation of the sickening, barbaric procedure. Levatino said he’d first use a suction catheter to remove the amniotic fluid from around the baby. He then picked up a Sopher clamp and described it to lawmakers. “It’s about 13 inches long,” he said. “It’s made of stainless steel. The business end of this clamp is about two-and-a-half inches long and a half-inch wide. There are rows of sharp teeth. This is a grasping instrument. When it gets a hold of something, it does not let go.”

A dilation and evacuation procedure, he said, is a “blind abortion.” ...“So picture yourself reaching introducing this and grabbing anything you can blindly. And pull, and I do mean hard, and out pops a leg about that big,” the doctor said, holding his thumb and forefinger a few inches apart, “which you put down on the table next to you. Reach in again, pull again, pull out an arm about the same length, which you put down on the table next to you. And use this instrument again and again to tear out the spine, the intestines, the heart and lungs.”

“The head on the baby that size is about the size of a large plum. You can’t see it, but you’ve a pretty good idea you’ve got it if you’ve got your instrument around something and your fingers are spread about as far as they go. You know you did it right if you crush down on the instrument and white material runs out of the cervix. That was the baby’s brains. Then you can pull out skull pieces.”

Levatino closed by saying, “Sometimes a little face comes back and stares back at you. Congratulations. You have just successfully performed a second-trimester D&E abortion. You just affirmed her right to choose.”

Scientists Confirm Unborn Children Feel Excruciating Pain During Abortions - ...The title of a new academic paper says it all: “Reconsidering fetal pain,” by two well-credentialed medical professionals, Stuart Derbyshire and John C. Bockmann. The article is an honest, objective review of the scientific literature as it relates to the question of whether and when a child still in the womb can experience pain. Looking at the scientific evidence again with unbiased eyes, the authors’ answer was “yes,” perhaps as early as 12 weeks, and certainly after 18 weeks. Derbyshire and Bockmann also reviewed the evidence for experiencing pain as it relates to any need for the cortex, or any psychological processes to “interpret” the pain signal. Their objective, balanced reading of the evidence pointed to pain experience without the need for the cortex (similar to the undisputed pain experienced by animals), mediated by other neural structures.

"Medical" or "Chemical" abortion

Pro-Choice Is a Misnomer - By Jerry Newcombe .... Pro-choice is a misnomer. Those who are pro-choice are in reality pro-abortion. ...OB-GYN Ingrid Skop, M.D.,: “A majority, around 60%, said their preference would have been to give birth had they received more emotional support or had greater financial security….In another 2023 peer-reviewed survey, 61% of women reported “high levels” of pressure to abort.”

... Jim Harden, the president of Compass Care: “It is telling that a recent study revealed that nearly 70% of women are coerced to abort their babies….When a woman faces an unplanned pregnancy, she considers abortion because she feels trapped… like she has no choice. Mercenary abortionists masquerade as medical professionals to profiteer from this tragic reality” ...Harden continues, “Yet pro-life pregnancy centers help a woman with everything but abortion…for free. Pro-life pregnancy centers are the abortion industry’s only competition, delivering up to 2 million women nearly $358 million worth of free medical care and support every year. And while pro-abortion politicians get re-elected on the coat tails of abortion propaganda, it is the pro-life pregnancy centers that are empowering women with true informed consent and support.

...OB-GYN Vivina Napier, M.D. said recently: “In my years in practice, I have never met a woman who has expressed regret over giving birth to her baby, but I have met plenty who shared their regret for having abortions.”

‘I Regret It Every Day’: New Survey Reveals the Extent of Post-Abortion Trauma -By Ben Johnson - ..."I regret it every day and cry about it often," said another woman one year after deciding to oversee her abortion at home. Far from making her feel independent, she said the overwhelming emotion she felt—and still feels—is "helplessness." Her words echo too many other women who took the two-pill regimen of mifepristone and misoprostol, called a "medical" or "chemical" abortion to distinguish it from surgical abortion.

...The expectant mother undergoes this alone, often without an in-person medical check-up. Support After Abortion noted that women found bearing the responsibility of presiding over and disposing of their child's remains "extremely distressing," "isolating," and "traumatic."

"[I] just feel bad. I let it bleed out of me like nothing," said one woman. One-third of women (34%) who had a chemical abortion "reported an adverse change in themselves, including depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and thoughts of suicide."

"I felt like I didn't deserve to be a mom. It got to the point where I wasn't eating. I couldn't go to work. I couldn't watch my kids," said Chantal Gates in her book, "Unraveled Roots: Exposing the Hidden Causes of Damaging Behaviors," published in 2020. "I couldn't believe I had done this to a child I actually cared about and wanted."

At least one post-abortive woman committed suicide, and seven died of overdoses/drug-related deaths, after undergoing a medical abortion, according to FDA data. Barely of the 26 known deaths related to medication abortion (54%) between 2000 and 2019 came from natural causes. But the number may be far higher, as researchers say the results are often miscoded as a miscarriage.

Others still remembered the pain of going through contractions alone in a bathroom. "They said minor discomfort. It was horrible. Physically and emotionally," said a woman who ingested the deadly medical cocktail. "It was 100 times more painful than [I was] told. It took over 12 hours to completely expel the tissue. It was so much more traumatic than a surgical abortion, which I had once before," said another.

What is Abortion?” The new videos feature innovative and realistic animations, and the videos are narrated by four female doctors who previously worked as abortionists. Drs. Noreen Johnson, Beverly McMillan, Kathi Aultman, and Patti Giebink walk viewers through the devastating reality of abortion in the videos. The doctors narrate — respectively — the chemical, aspiration (D&C), dilation and evacuation (D&E), and induced abortion procedures. Additionally, they give viewers information on fetal development at the stage of pregnancy during which each type of abortion typically takes place.

RE: MSNBC Host Joe Scarborough: ‘Jesus Never Once Talked about Abortion’ - Scarborough reveals how Marxists twist the Scripture for in Matthew 5:17-19 & Luke 16:16-17 - Jesus said: Do not think that I come to annul, to bring an incorrect interpretation to, the Torah or the Prophets. I did not come to annul but to bring spiritual abundance, for the Torah to be obeyed as it should be and God's promises to receive fulfillment. For truly I say to you: until the sky and the Earth would pass away, not one yod or one vav could ever pass away, from the Torah, until everything would come to pass. Therefore, whoever would break one of the least of these commandments, and would teach people this way, will be called least in the kingdom of heaven: but whoever would do the commandments and would teach them, will be called great in the kingdom of the heavens. What the Torah and prophets declared about the womb:

As you know not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so you know not the works of God who makes all. Ecclesiastes 11:5

Thus says the LORD, your redeemer, and he that formed you from the womb, I am the LORD that makes all things; that stretches forth the heavens alone; that spreads abroad the earth by myself; That frustrates the tokens of the liars, and makes diviners mad; that turns wise men backward, and makes their knowledge foolish; Isaiah 44:24-25

Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.
Isaiah 49:15

But thou art he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother's breasts. Psalm 22:9

Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate. Psalms 127:3-5

For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knows right well. Psalms 139:13-14

T. Russell Hunter @TRussHunter - Sometimes all you have to do is repeat back to people what they just said…
Russell: What do you think about abortion?
Man: I think it's a woman's right.
Russell: A woman's right to do what?
Man: Abort.
Russell: Abort what?
Man: Abort a kid that's not wanted or will be raised in a bad environment.
Russell: So, if I repeat that back to you, it's a woman's right to abort a kid that's unwanted or could be raised in a bad environment. So, you can just abort kids if you don't want 'em?
Man: No... -ahh, never mind!

Debunking the Left's Arguments on Abortion  - The central pro-life argument is very simple: A. It is wrong to intentionally kill an innocent human being. B. Abortion intentionally kills an innocent human being. C. Therefore, abortion is wrong. With this in mind, let’s debunk two of the main arguments for abortion: 1. The unborn fetus is not a human being. 2. It’s my body, so it’s my choice. Let’s look at these one at time. ...

...But what is the unborn fetus if not a human being? Dr. C. Ward Kischer, former Professor Emeritus of Human Embryology at the University of Arizona College of Medicine, points out that “every human embryologist, worldwide, states that the life of the new individual human being begins at fertilization (conception).” If life begins at conception—as science demonstrates—then that life must be fully human. If not, at what point do we become human?

...Consider a C-section versus an appendectomy—is removing a baby from the mother equivalent to removing her appendix?  ...Science confirms what common sense tells us, that the mother and the baby are distinct, different individuals with unique DNA.

Multiple "Choice" Questions By Mike Adams - (Author's Note: The sole outside source for the following column is the work of Scott Klusendorf (www.prolifetraining.com). Scott, a Summit Ministries faculty member, is, in my opinion, the world's greatest pro-life advocate. Summit Ministries graduate Lila Rose is a close second. Both Scott and Lila are graduates of UCLA.) Dear Keith: Thanks for writing to share your concerns about your "pro-choice" sociology professor. Taking a sociology class is always tough, especially when the professor claims to be your moral superior while simultaneously advocating abortion. I would recommend that you temper your remarks in class whenever you feel you are on the verge of losing your composure. In fact, you should not make any remarks or statements at all. Instead, you should just ask questions. Here are some good ones I wish I had asked while in college: 1. Morally speaking, is having an abortion really just like picking a scab? 2. If abortion is not murder because the fetus is not a person then why make it "safe, legal, and rare?" (Click here for all 35 questions.)

God's Word Clearly Opposes Abortion - By Joseph Parker - ...Here are some passages from the Bible that give us God's counsel and will concerning life, abortion, and the taking of innocent life.
...You shall not murder (Exodus 20:13).
...Rescue those who are being taken away to death; hold back those who are stumbling to the slaughter. If you say, 'Behold, we did not know this," does not he who weighs the heart perceive it? Does not he who keeps watch over your soul know it, and will he not repay man according to his work? (Proverbs 24:12)
...Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are destitute. Open your mouth, judge righteously, defend the rights of the poor and needy (Proverbs 31:8-9).
...And you took your sons and your daughters, whom you had borne to me, and these you sacrificed to them to be devoured. Were your whorings so small a matter that you slaughtered my children and delivered them up as an offering by fire to them? (Ezekiel 16:20-21)

Why Abortion Is Not Consistent With Christianity - By Raphael-Warnock ...The fact is that abortion isn't health care at all. Abortion is the intentional killing of an innocent human life, and it inflicts direct physical harm on both the mother and the unborn child. Moreover, abortion wounds the mental and emotional health of the women who procure it, sowing spiritual confusion and pain throughout families and communities. God does not and would never call on Christians to kill innocent lives and inflict physical and spiritual harm.
Furthermore, abortion dehumanizes the unborn and offends the sacredness of human life. A fetus is neither a clump of cells nor a burdensome health problem to be gotten rid of in a clinic. From the moment of conception, every human life is endowed by God with inalienable dignity and worth. As Psalm 139:13b-14a (ESV) proclaims with joy, "You knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am wonderfully and fearfully made." No human being could ever possibly have a right to kill an unborn life that God has made to praise Him for His greatness and glory.
One of the most touching and awe-inspiring moments in the gospel comes when Mary visits Elizabeth, the mother of John the Baptist. Both women are pregnant at the time: one with the savior of mankind, the other with the holy man who would prepare the way for Jesus' coming. When Elizabeth heard Mary coming, the baby in her womb "leaped for joy" (Luke 1:44b). Can a clump of cells do that? Is there any clearer statement than this that unborn life participates fully in God's plan for mankind?

Article in Harvard Law Journal concludes: The preborn child is a constitutional person -By Calvin Freiburger - ...Josh Craddock concludes that there is only one proper constitutional approach to abortion: If prenatal life is to be protected under the Fourteenth Amendment, Congress or the courts must intervene in states that do not guarantee equal protection and due process to preborn human beings. After all, "the [Fourteenth] amendment was designed to limit state power and authorize Congress to enforce such limitations." Should a state refuse to protect prenatal life, it would be a violation of equal protection[.]

Pro-Life Videos Garner 85 Million Views - by Jerry Newcombe Note: the following column contains some sensitive material. Reader discretion is advised.  ...Support for abortion can be undercut when people learn what an abortion actually is. An enterprising young pro-life woman, Lila Rose, is working hard to solve this problem. She and her team at liveaction.org have been producing powerful online videos to educate people as to what actually happens in an abortion. The videos are going viral in a major way and are receiving tens of millions of views.  ...I had the privilege this last weekend to hear Lila Rose as she addressed the Values Voters Summit in Washington, D.C. (put on by Tony Perkins and the Family Research Council). She spoke about their latest video project and its incredible viewership.  ...The video project can be found at www.abortionprocedures.com. What the abortionists do in secret, Lila Rose aims to shout from the housetops.

The Pro-Life Women's Clinic That Wants to "Replace Planned Parenthood" - And Might Do It  - By DUSTIN SIGGINS: "Women see our signs that say, "Walk-ins Welcome," "Unexpected Pregnancy Solutions At No Charge," "Pregnancy Verification At No Cost To Our Clients," they come in. Because they're looking for hope, and they're looking for a professional, confidential setting that will provide them true alternatives. We see walk-ins every week, of women who have said, "I'm so glad I found this place, I'm so glad that there's resources, I'm so glad I'm not alone." According to Swindell, the "Stanton Revolution" is totally privately funded, and all services, including, but not limited to, ultrasounds, housing assistance, counseling and adoption, are free. And unlike Planned Parenthood, which gets approximately $540 million annually from various government sources across the U.S., "we are completely and totally 100 percent privately funded," explains Swindell.

What Really Happens in the 4 Most Common Abortion Procedures
- By BRIAN GOTTSTEIN/LIVE ACTION "This unique window into the womb dispels the myth that abortions remove 'clumps of cells,' and instead shows that they kill real children with beating hearts and forming brains at just 3 1/2 weeks gestation," Live Action president and founder Lila  Rose said.

Jeremiah 20:17 - "Because he slew me not from the womb; or that my mother might have been my grave, and her womb to be always great with me."

Ecclesiastes 11:5  - "As you know not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so you know not the works of God who makes all."

 Roe v. Wade & Dobbs v. Jackson

Myth vs. Fact: SCOTUS Dobbs Decision and America’s Attitude on Abortion - The Supreme Court corrected a grave constitutional error when their ruling on Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health overturned both Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey. This returns the power to protect life back to the American people through their elected representatives at the state and federal level. The Left is smearing conservatives and spreading falsehoods about the decision. Here are the facts vs. the myths:

Babies, Guns, and the Great Divide Ignore the hysteria — there’s nothing extreme about SCOTUS rulings on concealed carry or Roe v. Wade. - By Jack Devine - ...Whether you agree or disagree with the Court’s judgment on Roe, let’s at least be accurate about it. The ruling does not make abortion illegal. It does not compel anyone to do anything. It simply confirms that there is no guaranteed right to abortion, explicit or implied, in the U.S. Constitution. ...The Supreme Court’s decision to reverse it was rock solid and long overdue. The matter is now back where it belongs — in the hands of state legislators and the voters who elect them. ...A return to the absolute abortion bans preceding Roe v. Wade will not pull Americans together; nor will orchestrated rage by the Left — riots, arson, vandalism, assault — change any minds. But somewhere, there’s a sensible middle ground. Most Americans support reasonable abortion restrictions, only about 10% favor a total ban, and about 20% abhor late-term abortion.

Liberal tolerance on display after reversal of Roe v. Wade -- By Larry Elder - ..."Interestingly, the justice who wrote Roe, Harry Blackmun, expected the ruling to have limited effect and never intended for it to be construed as giving women a "right" to an abortion, let alone one on demand and up to and including the third trimester. We know this because years after Blackmun's death, his personal writings became public. Blackmun, a former general counsel for the Mayo Clinic, wanted doctors to determine what Blackmun anticipated would be rare instances in which an abortion would be medically necessary, as determined by the woman's doctor. In 2005, the Los Angeles Times wrote about the release of Blackmun's private papers in an article called 'Roe Ruling: More Than Its Author Intended.' Staff writer David Savage wrote: 'Blackmun proposed to issue a news release to accompany the decision, issued Jan. 22, 1973. "I fear what the headlines may be," he wrote in a memo. His statement, never issued, emphasized that the court was not giving women "an absolute right to abortion," nor was it saying that the "Constitution compels abortion on demand."' Blackmun wrote that abortion 'must be left to the medical judgment of the pregnant woman's attending physician' based upon a doctor's consideration of 'all factors — physical, emotional, psychological, familial and the woman's age — relevant to the well-being of the patient.' If there is any doubt that the Court expected Roe to change little about abortion, the day of the Roe decision, Chief Justice Warren Burger said, 'Plainly, the court today rejects any claim that the Constitution requires abortion on demand.'"

Pro-Abortion Lies and How to Debunk Them Misinformation has led to more division and moral confusion on what should be an obvious fact. - By Emmy Griffin - There’s an awful lot of rhetoric on the topic of abortion. Here are some common leftist talking points on the subject and how to refute them. (See column for rebuttals.)  ...“Abortion should be available in the case of rape or incest.” ...“Anti-abortion laws will prevent mothers from having safe miscarriage treatments.” ...“Women have lost the right to bodily autonomy.” ...“Forced pregnancy and birth is a burden on the poor.” ...“Some women are not emotionally ready to be mothers.” ...“Abortion is only 3% of what Planned Parenthood does.” ...“Abortion is about the mother and her right to choose.” ...“Businesses that pay for their female employees’ abortion tourism are pro-women.”

“I’m Not Pro-Murdering Babies”: Resources For A Catholic Response To Abortion - by Will WrightAbortion, Pro-Life, Social Justice, Testimonies - There has been a post circulating around Facebook and other places which begins “I’m not pro-murdering babies.” The post then presents various circumstances in which an abortion could be justified, in the view of the author. The problems with the post and many and varied. So, we thought it would be fruitful to walk through the potential Catholic responses to abortion in these instances.

...developed without life-sustaining organs. ...sexually assaulted

...hemorrhaged due to a placental abruption

...her 11-year-old body isn’t mature enough to bear the consequence of rape

...choose between bringing another child into poverty or feeding the children she already has

...she is in no way financially, emotionally, or physically able to raise a child.

...went through IVF, ending up with SIX viable implanted eggs requiring selective reduction in order to ensure the safety of her and a SAFE amount of fetuses.

...FINALLY getting the strength to get away from her physically abusive spouse only to find out that she is carrying the monster’s child.

...went into her confirmation appointment after YEARS of trying to conceive only to hear silence where there should be a heartbeat.

...lost her virginity in her sophomore year with a broken condom and now has to choose whether to be a teenage mom or just a teenager.

...just found out she’s already 13 weeks along, but the egg never made it out of her fallopian tube so either she terminates the pregnancy or risks dying from internal bleeding.

Fact Check: Dobbs Will Not Impact Life-Saving Medical Care for High Risk or Ectopic Pregnancies - Dr. Christina Francis, M.D., a board-certified OB/GYN and associate scholar at Charlotte Lozier Institute, responded:   “My heart is breaking that women are being made to feel fearful by the misinformation that’s out there.  Treating ectopic pregnancies or miscarriages or other life-threatening conditions in pregnancy is not the same thing as an abortion.  Chemical abortions, which are being heavily promoted by the abortion industry and its allies,  cannot treat an ectopic pregnancy according to the FDA.  The treatments for ectopic pregnancy are not the same procedures used by induced abortions, which even Planned Parenthood admits.    As a pro-life OB/GYN who’s practiced my entire career in hospitals that do not allow abortions, I have never been prevented from safely treating an ectopic pregnancy.   “In the rare but tragic situations where a pregnancy puts the mother’s life at risk, there are medical procedures for compassionately separating the mother and her baby and working to save both lives.  The only intent of an abortion is to produce a dead baby.  Women deserve to be empowered by medically-accurate information.”

The Dobbs Decision, Explained - How did the justices reach their decision? What is its historic significance? And what comes next for the pro-life movement? On this bonus episode of “The Daily Signal Podcast,” Tom Jipping, a senior legal fellow for the Meese Center for Legal and Judicial Studies at The Heritage Foundation, answers those questions and more. ......Bluey: How about the three dissenting justices—Breyer, Sotomayor, and Kagan? What did they say in their dissent? Jipping: Their dissent was very much like Roe v. Wade. Which is, they didn’t even attempt to claim that it was correctly decided. They didn’t really even try, ..."And yet the dissent really did what pro-abortion advocates have always done, which is to ignore the unborn child."

Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization: An Opportunity to Correct a Grave Error (November 17, 2021) Over an hour read Download Report Authors: Sarah Perry and Thomas Jipping - ...Polls About Specific Circumstances. Most polls asking whether abortion should be legal in specific circumstances focus only on those that occur very rarely, such as danger to a mother’s life or physical health, fetal deformity, or pregnancy resulting from rape or incest. Combined, these “hard cases” constitute only about five to 10 percent of abortions. Most Americans support the legality of abortion in these situations, and states had begun making them legal prior to Roe v. Wade. Studies show that, in America and around the world, most women cite multiple reasons for seeking abortion. The most common reasons are avoiding interference with education or career (74 percent), financial considerations (73 percent), or the desire not to be a single mother (48 percent). These are among the abortions that Roe v. Wade made legal, and most Americans oppose them.

Caught in the Crossfire — Women After Abortion - By Ann Caldwell - Behind every abortion there is a woman who is either in denial about the life she took or has a broken heart. .... Even in our places of worship, praises about the Supreme Court decision often overlook the hurting women and men in those pews. I urge us all to consider that many broken individuals are carrying the burden of abortion with them every day. It may be hidden in the mix of failed relationships, addictions, unmet potential, and suffering of all sorts due to shame, embarrassment, false pride ("nobody is the boss of me!"), grief, and long-held secrets. ...Two resources for post-abortion healing are the "National Memorial for the Unborn," a place of encouragement for women and men scarred by abortion, and "Empty Arms," a book with 60 life-giving stories of hope and healing after abortion.

  • 15 Facts at 15 Weeks - A unique human being forms at fertilization when a man’s sperm combines with a woman’s egg creating a zygote, a single-celled human embryo, with a unique set of genetic information that determines his or her physical traits. A new human being is called an embryo for the first eight weeks of life inside the womb and a fetus from nine weeks until birth. There is enough genetic variation that no two humans have been, or ever will be, genetically identical.[1] That single-cell zygote will become a 30 trillion cell adult.[2] But what exactly is a 15-week-gestation fetus like? We’ve put together 15 amazing facts about the 15-week-gestation fetus.
  • Civil Rights for the Unborn - Inform African-Americans and the general public about the harmful impact of abortion and artificial family planning. Educate the community about the sanctity of life. Activate the community to combat the harmful impact and scourge of abortion and genocide.

  • Abort73.com ...With the goal of convincing young people that abortion is a "massive injustice of historic proportions," a California-based ministry has launched an information-laden website it describes as "polished" and "design-savvy." Abort73.com -- a project of Loxafamosity Ministries, Inc., in Burbank -- debuted on the Internet last week, delivering what it calls a "point-by-point abortion education driven by audio, video, animation, photography, and medical illustration." The ministry says it takes more than "conviction" to impact the culture, and that is why the new website gives as much attention to the "package" as it does to the content. "Because the 'package' [of previous pro-life offerings] has been so bad," says a press release from Loxafamosity, "the message is often written off without a hearing" -- and among young people, claims the press statement, it is a "serious blow to the credibility of the pro-life position" when that package lags behind corporate America. In addition to providing extensive information on the truths behind the pro-abortion movement, Abort73.com offers a broad line of Abort 73 merchandise that will allow young people to have an influence well beyond their own campus. Says Loxafamosity, "It only takes a glance to realize that Abort73.com is unlike anything the pro-life movement has ever undertaken -- but a longer stay may well convince you we're on the brink of something historic." War on Women: Planned Parenthood Killed About 438 Unborn Baby Girls Per Day - By Terry Jeffrey - In its latest annual report, Planned Parenthood revealed that it killed 327,653 unborn babies in its abortion clinics in fiscal 2013. It also stated that in the year that ended on June 30, 2014 it received $524.8 million -- or 41 percent of its total funding -- from the government. According to the Oversight Committee, the Congressional Budget Office has estimated Planned Parenthood gets about $450 million per year in federal funding. Nor does Planned Parenthood deny -- as revealed in a series of recently released videos -- that it harvests tissue from some of the unborn babies it kills. For Americans who respect innocent life, one obvious question is this: Why is Congress taking hard-earned money from American families struggling to raise their own children in a safe and decent environment and handing it over to a group that kills hundreds of thousands of babies per year and sometimes cuts out their organs?

...In calendar 2013, according to the CDC, 1,049 male babies were born for each 1,000 female babies. That means approximately 48.8 percent of the babies born that year were girls and 51.2 percent were boys. Assuming the 327,653 unborn babies Planned Parenthood killed in fiscal 2013 tracked the same male-female ratio as the babies born in calendar 2013, then Planned Parenthood would have aborted 159,895 baby girls and 167,758 baby boys. That would mean Planned Parenthood killed about 438 unborn baby girls per day and 460 unborn baby boys. The United States suffered 58,220 fatal military casualties during the war in Vietnam, according to the National Archives. Planned Parenthood's one-year abortion total of 327,653 is about 5.6 times greater than the casualties this nation suffered in Vietnam.

Planned Parenthood Cancels Margaret Sanger … Sort Of. While disavowing the abortion mill founder's racist views, the current president refused to say Sanger was a racist. - By Thomas Gallatin

...The truth is that Sanger's views were indeed racist, with her expressed and primary goal for abortion being population control. Specifically, she aimed to limit the reproduction rate of the underdeveloped within the populace so as "to make the coming generation into such physically fit, mentally capable, socially alert individuals as are the ideal of a democracy." That's called eugenics, and a certain political party in Germany also endorsed it.

...As Human Coalition Vice President Benjamin Watson contended, "Whether they personally identify with Sanger's ideology or not, they continue to carry out her mission, by serving as the leading executioner of our children. The same Sanger they claim to disavow would applaud their efforts and results, as a disproportionate percentage of black children have been killed in Planned Parenthood's abortion clinics." He added, "Acknowledging a racist history does not absolve them of the blood on their hands, as they continue to take full advantage of victims of the racism they decry."

Abortion and why the Catholic Church was targeted - By Terry T. Beatley is President of the Hosea Initiative and author of What If We've Been Wrong? Keeping My Promise to America's  "Abortion King."  Clare Ruff is Hosea Initiative's Vice-President of Events and Outreach.

This article contains the very moving story of one man's sin, repentance and redemption. That man was Dr. Bernard Nathanson (1926-2011). He was arguably one of the most influential practitioners and proponents of abortion in the late 1960s into the 1970s. Then one day he saw a human baby in the womb moving in an ultrasound video. And he felt convicted that, despite all of the reasons that he had proposed in favor of abortion, that aborting human beings was morally wrong. And this conviction led him thereafter to become a powerful voice in favor of the right to life of the unborn. In the 1980s he was the narrator for the film "The Silent Scream." And years later, as an old man, he told a young woman who came to interview him the story of his conversion and repentance. That woman was Terry Beatley, and this is her story of their encounter. The article appears in the October edition of Inside the Vatican magazine.

[NARAL's Executive Director Lawrence] Lader also modeled his anti-Catholic bigotry after the queen of racism and eugenics, Margaret   Sanger, the founder of the Birth Control Federation of America (later renamed Planned Parenthood). She started her dirty deeds in 1916 as a fallen-away Catholic whose socialist father taught her to despise the Church. In the early 1920s, she strategically pitted Protestants against Catholics over the issue of contraception. By 1939, she launched the "Negro Project," an aggressive plan to reduce the black race by pushing birth control and sterilization onto minority communities under the guise of women's healthcare. In the late 1950s, she led the charge for a little white pill which fueled an era of unfettered promiscuity and out-of-wedlock births. Then, she passed the baton of abhorrence of the Catholic Church to Lader, her biographer and admirer, who soon thereafter partnered with Nathanson to form NARAL. The story of how Dr. Bernard Nathanson and the other founders of NARAL deceitfully popularized abortion by intentionally undermining the Catholic Church and its bishops. Far too many are unaware of this history. Terry Beatley, the author, interviewed Dr. Nathanson who gave her a first hand account of their 4 step diabolical "Catholic strategy." (Miraculously, Nathanson, an atheist and America's "abortion king," had become pro-life and had converted to Catholicism.)

...As Dr. Nathanson recounted it, everything was in place "for the portrayal of the Catholic Church as a political force, for the use of anti-Catholicism as a political instrument, and for the manipulation of Catholics themselves by splitting them and setting them against each other." (Ibid., p. 181) Let it be said: The Church helped us in NARAL. The papal encyclical of 1968 [Humane Vitae] denying both abortion and contraception to Catholics was a bonanza for us at NARAL at precisely the correct moment in history. By linking abortion and contraception in the encyclical, the Vatican made it impossible for those Catholics who were using birth control to split off the abortion issue, therefore leaving them to pick their own way through the confusing ethical and theological landscape. (Ibid., p. 189) The leap from practicing contraception to supporting legalized abortion proved an easy one.

Top 10 Mind-Blowing Images Of Human Life In The Womb (PersonhoodUSA) You started your life in the womb. And you won't believe your eyes when you see these incredible images of human development before birth!
   1. At just 4 days after fertilization wordpress.com - What? That zygote doesn't look human? Well, scientifically, it is! It's growing, so it must be alive. It has human parents, so it must be human. In fact, since fertilization, that zygote has possessed a predetermined sex (it's a girl!) and her own unique set of human DNA. Her DNA will guide her body's development over the next nine months (and its entire lifetime!). Remember, don't judge or discriminate against other human beings just because they don't look like us!

Her heart is beating about 100 times a minute (almost twice as fast as yours) and blood is beginning to circulate through her body. Brain waves have been detectable for at least 2-3 weeks already

Almost 900 doctors sign Dublin Declaration, affirm abortion is not maternal health - By Thaddeus Baklinski - ...Unveiled at the International Symposium on Maternal Healthcare in Dublin, Ireland, the Declaration states: "As experienced practitioners and researchers in obstetrics and gynaecology, we affirm that direct abortion, the purposeful destruction of the unborn child, is not medically necessary to save the life of a woman." ...Signatory Dr. Eoghan de Faoite told LifeSiteNews there is a fundamental difference between life saving treatment a woman may need during pregnancy, and abortion, which is the direct and intentional taking of the life of the unborn child. "The Dublin Declaration clarifies this quite succinctly," he said. He pointed out that through the Dublin Declaration, obstetricians, gynecologists, neonatologists, pediatricians and other doctors from across the specialties of medicine and surgery testify that a country does not need legalized abortion in order to preserve maternal health and reduce maternal mortality.  ...Further information on the Dublin Declaration and the list of signatories is available here.

Fetid Fruits of Feminism Written By Laurie Higgins - Hillary Clinton infamously said that abortion should be legal, safe, and rare. She also said that conception marks the beginning of "potential life." If the union of egg and sperm, which creates something actual that possesses the full genetic code of a new human being, does not in Clinton's view mark the start of an actual human life, one wonders when Clinton thinks potential life becomes actual life. Perhaps this short and remarkable video can illuminate for Clinton a truth about the actual lives of preborn babies the intentional killings of which should not be rare but unthinkable: Some intrepid reporter should then ask Clinton these questions:
   - Does this video depict an actual human being?
   - Does this human being have any inherent rights based on his or her status as a human?
   - Does the absence of full development abrogate a person's right to exist?
   - Does a person's location abrogate his or her right to exist?
   - If one person's right to control her reproductive system comes into direct conflict with the right of another human (less mature, less free, and more vulnerable) simply to exist, which is a right of a higher moral order?
   - Is the legal right to have one's child killed in utero progress? Or does the legalization of the "right" to legally kill one's own child demonstrate the expansive capacity of humans to rationalize evil?
Though the most loathsome of all the fetid fruits of feminism, abortion is just one of many. Feminism, which gave America dead babies on a metaphorical platter gilded with silver-tongued sophistry, has rarely been noted for either its moral rectitude or intellectual consistency. While feminists claim to value women, most support the murder of preborn girls. While they claim to value female empowerment, many support the objectification of women through pornography. While they claim to value freedom, choice, and diversity, many derogate the choice of unselfish domesticity and ridicule those who believe sexual activity is appropriate only between one man and one woman within the context of conjugal marriage.
It's hard to believe that so many Americans have been duped by what is commonly referred to as "second wave" and "third wave" (with its worship of gender ambiguity and "sex positivity") feminism into believing that women in the 21stCentury are better off than women in, say, the 1950's. Yes, in the 1950's it was difficult for women to enter male-dominated professions or rise to the upper echelons of corporate America, men made sexist jokes, and little women couldn't play peewee football. But:
   - In the 1950's, women weren't slaughtering 1,300,000 of their own babies every year, approximately half of which are girl babies whose own mothers rob them of their right to an "empowered" existence.
   - According to the Guttmacher Institute, the maternal death toll due to illegal abortions in 1950 was 300, and by 1965, eight years before Roe v. Wade legalized abortion in every state without restriction, deaths due to illegal abortions dropped to just under 200.  "Progressives" think the intentional killing of 56 million babies is justified to prevent the unintentional deaths of 9,600 women, all in the name of freedom, choice, and empowerment (also known as selfishness).
   - Women in the 1950's weren't so delusional as to believe that appearing in pornography constitutes empowerment.
   - Women in the 1950's weren't so delusional as to believe that watching porn with their boyfriends and husbands is healthy and good.
   - The concept of "feminist porn" would have been both oxymoronic and moronic to most pre-1960's women who held modesty and self-respect in higher esteem and, therefore, would have recoiled at the objectification of women that "feminist porn" represents for both actors and viewers.
   - One in three women in the 1950's weren't raising their children without fathers.
Feminists have helped women scale boardroom walls and smash glass ceilings to smithereens. They've helped women tear up basketball courts during their college years. And they've made it possible for little girls everywhere to achieve their lifelong dreams of serving in combat and stripping naked to have sex on camera for the lascivious eyes of men and now of women who are becoming more like men in their most brutish states.
Pay no attention to the bloody, dismembered bodies of tiny humans whose brutal killings represent freedom and empowerment to women who have become both more selfish and more enslaved to men, the government, and their own untethered appetites.

Internet video, "Everyone Against Abortion, Please Raise Your Hand," has "sparked a response like no other I've seen" said Fr. Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, the video's producer. "Viewers are calling 'Raise Your Hand' the most powerful, memorable, and touching pro-life video they've ever seen, yet there are no bloody images or controversial statements in it," said Fr. Pavone. "The outstretched hand of this child is reaching a lot of people."

The video politicians who support legal abortion don't want you or anyone else to see! Fr. Frank Pavone - Priests for Life/Gospel of Life Ministries - In truth, they fear this video more than anything because it shows the inhumane cruelty and barbarity of the abortion procedure. It puts the spotlight of the abortion "debate" right where it needs to be ... on what abortion does to the child in the womb! After all, if we're going to debate abortion in this country, lets make sure everyone knows exactly what we're talking about. Sadly, the word abortion has lost its meaning. That's why politicians can get away with making themselves sound appealing to voters when they say they support the legality of abortion ... or of a woman's so-called "right to choose." But when people come to see and know what actually happens during an abortion, then a woman's "right to choose" takes on a different feel. That said, if you are serious about wanting to end abortion, click here to watch the short video that has sent shock waves through the abortion industry, and to learn more about the project we are launching this election season! Make no mistake: This video has the power to literally end abortion! The response has already been overwhelming. Pro-life activists have been re-energized. Fence-sitters have been awakened to the true horror of abortion. And even abortion advocates have been converted. "The care of human life and happiness, and not their destruction, is the first and only legitimate object of good government." --Thomas Jefferson, letter to The Republican Citizens of Washington County, Maryland, 1809

Worshiping Moloch By William J. Murray © 2011 - Moloch was one of many pagan gods worshiped by means of human sacrifice. Pagans who worshiped Moloch often sacrificed one of their own children, who was ritually murdered and then placed in a sacrificial altar of fire. The sacrifice of the child was to assure a blessing of prosperity for the family. Some followed the Canaanite practice of placing under the front doorstep of the family home the bones that remained after the burning of the child. In short, a child was murdered for the promised convenience and prosperity the family was to receive from Moloch. This sounds barbaric to those of us living in the 21st century. It seems barbaric until it is realized that since the Roe v. Wade decision, nearly 50 million babies have been murdered legally in the United States for the convenience or prosperity of their mothers and other family members. Abortion has the same intended outcome of personal and family prosperity as did the sacrifice of a child at the altar of Moloch.

It's Not Legal by Mario Diaz - Abortion is not legal. It can never be. No matter what the Supreme Court has said, the fact is that the right to life is inalienable.

Blood Money: The Economics of the Abortion Industry By Kristia Cavere - RightWingNews.com -On this 38th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, one aspect that the pro-life community must continually remind our fellow countrymen of is the economics of the abortion industry. Similar to a successful corporation, the billion dollar infanticide business is the result of one of the most successful marketing campaigns in American history. This "silent holocaust" where 3,500 American babies are aborted daily, is the ultimate exploitation of women. But the people who work at abortion clinics, and the politicians who sustain and encourage such establishments, earn a living by selling abortion through perpetuating the two great lies: a fetus is not a baby, and abortion is good for the woman. For money and power, such individuals are fighting to save themselves by killing innocents.

The pro-life documentary Blood Money: the Business of Abortion details how that industry is thriving financially. Carol Everett, the former owner of independent abortion clinics who was interviewed for the film, stated that the primary motivation for those entering that business is a desire to make money, therefore, they skillfully market their product to sell it to women in crisis. Ms. Everett stated that pro-choice advocates want the breakdown of the family and encourage sexual education, knowing those two situations would increase the likelihood of teenage girls being sexually active. Abortion clinics offer a sense of false security through their distribution of birth control. However, they dispense the cheapest condoms and birth control pills with the lowest dose of hormones knowing that such contraception will have a higher rate of failure. The goal, stated Carol Everett, is three to five abortions when the girl was between thirteen and eighteen years old.

OnlineForLife.org developed this insightful quiz about abortion. It's worth a few moments of your time to see just how much you know about women seeking abortions and the abortion industry. It may shock you. Then consider spreading this blog post link around to as many people as possible, especially those who are ambivalent to the life. ...Almost half (48%) of all abortions are performed in the United States on women who have had a previous abortion, and 6 in 10 women who have abortions are already mothers! Abortion is being used in our country as birth control, especially for those in low-income situations.   One of the main arguments for abortion is that it should be allowed in situations of incest and rape. However, abortions related to these situations account for less than 2% of all abortions performed in the United States each year.

After 41 years of Roe - Pro-Aborts still trying to Justify Murder Rev Michael Bresciani - Walk with me through one more list of pro-abortionist justifications and the answer to each of them. These answers are not mine, but have been born of the concerted effort of many brave, decent, loving and highly intelligent people who have carefully examined the product of 41 years of Roe v. Wade. Each section starts with the typical Pro-abort reasoning or excuse to justify and continue in the slaughter of an entire generation.
   - It's part of women's health. What part of death is healthy to anyone? Denying the right to abort is part of a "war against women." ...No women are dying in this war, only their children are dying. Are they using their children as shields as do all cowards? Have they engaged in the only war in world history where the warriors go on living and only their children die? Is this the new definition for - perversion?
   - It's my body, only I can decide what happens to it. It is the only body on earth to have 8 limbs, two brains and matching organs and of course - two hearts. Gee, think it may be two bodies after all? It is not a living human being, but only a lump of fleshy material. Almost every state in the union has a criterion to determine when a human being is completely dead. When all brain activity ceases the person is said to be clinically dead. Does that mean that when a fetus develops brain activity between 6 to 12 weeks, depending on whose study you reference, they are fully alive? Has anyone checked lately to see if the abortionist's have any appreciable brain activity?
   - It's the law of the land, Dredd Scott was also the law of the land at one time. A law which determined that black people - are not human! Can the Supreme Court make a supreme mistake; is Roe v. Wade another grand goof-up? If they had enough good sense to reverse Dredd Scott and prohibition, can they find the resolve to back up on Roe? God help them, it is so long overdue.
   - Obama: abortion can help daughters "fulfill their dreams," This statement was made in a White House press release on January 22, 2012. Although the debate about whether Obama is a Muslim or a Christian continues, it is for certain he is no biblical theologian. He has ignored one of the most recurring and fundamental teaching of the scripture. It is sometimes called the "law of reciprocation," but in lay terms, it is known as the law of "reaping and sowing" Jesus Christ made it so clear that a child could understand it. To wit:
"For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again." (Mt 7: 2) No one will defy this law; it is active today and will be to the last day. You will not ever realize your dream at the expense of another, especially if the other is a perfectly innocent developing human being.

Video: ABQ Woman Shares from Experience Why Fetal Anomalies Are No Justification for Late-term Abortion -- /Christian Newswire/ -- On the weekend before a municipal election that will determine if Albuquerque, New Mexico, will become the first city in the nation ban abortions after 20 weeks, a woman has come forward in a new video to tell why, when faced with a prenatal diagnosis of a child with severe fetal anomalies, she heroically rejected pressure to abort her son, Chance. Calling the bid to end late-term abortion a "humanitarian issue," Chantel Stuckman told of the heart-wrenching moment when she and her husband were told that her 24 week pre-born son had deformities so severe that he was not expected to live. While her doctors did not demand that she abort, they pressured her to rapidly make a life or death decision.
Having had an abortion as a teen that she deeply regrets, Chantel knew that this baby must be given a chance at life, however slim. "Chance was diagnosed with hydrocephaly and other conditions that often lead to abortions out of a misguided concern that the parents don't want their child to suffer," said Tara Shaver, Chairperson of ABQ Voters For Late Term Abortion Ban. "Aborting babies who are sick or disabled isn't something a compassionate society should do. We should let life take its course, and when we do, sometimes unexpected blessings come from what seems at first like tragedy."
Chantel agrees, noting that doctors told her that her son would not survive, but he did. They said he would never walk, talk, or read, but he can do all three. "I think that all children struggle," said Chantell. "And I don't think that killing them is ever our first option. I don't think we look at a child who's going through drug abuse and say, 'You know, they're really struggling. Maybe it would be better if I killed him.' I don't think we look at a child who is diagnosed with a terminal illness and say, 'Well, maybe we should just kill him because their suffering is going to be too much.' So I don't see the fact that a child may or may not suffer as a reason to end their life."
Today, Chance is a happy 14-year old teen who is a joy to all who know him. Chantel supports the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Ordinance because she understands more than most the heartbreak of a poor fetal diagnosis -- and that abortion is not the answer. In a new video, produced by Shaver and Cheryl Sullenger of Operation Rescue, Chantel urges Albuquerque voters to support the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Ordinance for the sake of children like Chance. Watch the video: "Chance: Life Matters" on Youtube.com.

The most heartrending abortion testimony you'll ever hear, from a former abortionist BY JOHN JALSEVAC (See video and text of testimony here.) - Martin Fox, President National Pro-Life Alliance summary: If there ever was graphic testimony detailing the horrors of abortion, those attending the recent hearing on the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act heard it firsthand. Dr. Anthony Levatino, OB/Gyn, who had performed more than 1,200 abortions, testified before the House Subcommittee on the Constitution to his change of heart after suffering the searing pain from the death of his own child.
Dr. Levatino was speaking at a House hearing on H.R. 1797, the "Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act." This bill that would ban abortions based on the extreme pain that the unborn go through during an abortion procedure. But Dr. Anthony didn't just speak in sterile medical terms about abortions. Rather, he told with excruciating detail of how he would perform a D&E abortion, even showing some of the medical instruments during his testimony for emphasis.
He went step by horrid step in his description, telling of how he would literally pull the baby apart to remove it from the mother's womb, and then how he would put it back together after he was done, like some kind of gory jigsaw puzzle, to make sure he had removed all of the dead child.
While this may be awful to read, I think it is something that every rational adult needs to hear, especially those who insist that an unborn child is just a "blob of tissue." Levatino added "If you refuse to believe that this procedure inflicts severe pain on that unborn child, please think again." He also addressed the abortion lobby's crocodile tears in regards to late-term abortions to "save the life of the mother," calling it out for the sham that it was.

Susan B. Anthony quoted in The Revolution, July 1869: "I deplore the horrible crime of child-murder... No matter what the motive, love of ease, or a desire to save from suffering the unborn innocent, the woman is awfully guilty who commits the deed.  It will burden her conscience in life, it will burden her soul in death; But oh! Thrice guilty is he who...drove her to the desperation which impels her to the crime."

Mother Teresa was quoted in The Wall Street Journal 1994 saying, "America needs no words from me to see how your decision in Roe v. Wade has deformed a great nation. The so-called right to abortion has pitted mothers against their children and women against men. It has sown violence and discord at the heart of the most intimate human relationships. It has aggravated the derogation of the father's role in an increasingly fatherless society. It has portrayed the greatest of gifts -- a child -- as a competitor, an intrusion, and an inconvenience. It has nominally accorded mothers unfettered dominion over the independent lives of their physically dependent sons and daughters."
